High-altitude sun, mag chloride, and winter sanding leave layers of film and mineral buildup on your windshield. Standard car washes and wiper fluid do not remove these bonded contaminants, even when the glass looks reasonably clean.
Over time this can create persistent haze, glare during sunrise and sunset, and reduced performance from even high-quality wiper blades. In wet conditions, water tends to cling and smear rather than bead and clear, especially at night with oncoming headlights.
The Colorado Clarity Package is designed specifically around these regional conditions to restore a neutral, predictable glass surface and maintain it longer.
A structured, repeatable process focused on clean, uniform glass and dependable wet-weather performance.
We review the windshield and front glass for pitting, chips, wiper wear, and mineral spotting. Then, we mask surrounding trim and surfaces if necessary.
We complete a thorough chemical cleaning of the the windshield, inside and out. Then we follow it up with a chemical and mechanical decontamination of the exterior, targeting bonded road film and hard water spotting.
Using dedicated glass polishing pads and compounds, we refine the surface to remove microcontamination and restore a clean, uniform contact surface for wipers and coatings.
We apply a premium, long-lasting dedicated glass coating for beading and faster water run-off. This improves wiper performance and helps maintain clarity in rain and slush.
We clean wiper blades, removing residue and buildup. Washer fluid is topped off with a quality, season-appropriate fluid.
We confirm clarity inside and out and provide simple guidance on how to wash and maintain the glass and coating for steady performance.
More neutral, “invisible” glass with reduced haze and ghosting
Improved visibility during rain, slush, and snow
More consistent wiper performance with less chatter and skipping
Reduced glare when driving toward low-angle sun or bright lights
Easier glass cleaning and slower return of mineral spotting
Results depend on existing glass condition, pitting, and previous chemical exposure. During your appointment we will let you know what to expect based on your specific windshield.
Service is currently focused on windshields and primary forward glass. If you would like to extend coverage to additional glass, you can discuss options on-site.
Our process is consistent across all vehicles and windshields making it effective and affordable for all passenger vehicles. Motorhomes and large commercial vehicles can be serviced but will incur an extra charge depending on size.
Most appointments take between 60 and 90 minutes on-site. Larger vehicles, heavy mineral buildup, or complex glass shapes can extend the visit. We will give you an estimated duration when we arrive and complete the initial inspection.
In normal Colorado driving with regular washing, most clients see meaningful benefits for up to 6-12 months. Longevity depends on mileage, storage (garage vs. outside), the amount of winter chemical exposure, and how the glass is cleaned. We provide simple care recommendations at the end of your appointment.
No. This service is focused on contamination, haze, and film on otherwise sound glass. It does not repair cracks, chips, or heavy pitting. If we believe glass replacement or chip repair would be more appropriate, we will let you know before proceeding.
We operate as a mobile service. We need space to park next to your vehicle, access to the vehicle interior, and enough clearance to open doors and work safely around the windshield. We bring our own tools, lighting, and materials. Access to a standard electrical outlet is requested; please alert us if this is not available.
For outdoor appointments, heavy rain, snow, or high winds will affect the quality of the work. If conditions are not suitable, we will contact you to adjust the time or move the appointment to a more protected location where available.
Some popular windshield wiper fluids (like Rain-X) with hydrophobic properties will interact with the coating and diminish performance. We make sure to swap out any such fluid in your system prior to service and we'll fill the reservoir with appropriate fluid. We provide recommendations for the proper fluid to maintain your coating for as long as possible.
You will receive an email confirmation with appointment details, location, and preparation instructions immediately after payment.
